July 29th & August 5th - After a summer of not seeing the Wilders AT ALL... we finally made it up there! We hadn't been to Dallas to see them since Emily's wedding in mid-May. Anyway, the first weekend we hung out, played tennis, dyed my hair blue... it was a good visit. The second weekend, we did more hanging out, and lots of family time. We played a "dinner" (lunch) murder mystery. It was pretty funny. Best actor awards BY FAR go to Mr. & Mrs. Wilder... Derek BY FAR gets the WORST actor award.
That night, we had DELICIOUS RIBS. DELICIOUS. :) Then the bigger bros did a mini award ceremony (this is apparently a "thing" they do). It was a special moment for us all :) It was our last weekend before Derek left to go off to college. Sad times.
