This is hilarious. Here's an example. Here's my blog after it had been geocities-ized.

If This Blog Existed in 1999...
Buddy sent me a link to this website that essentially takes any current website, and changes it so that it looks like it was "made by a 13-year-old in 1996." Well... I was a 13 year old is 1999... and it DEFINITELY looks like what my asian avenue page used to look like :) Embarrassing.

Obvious Reason Why Thomas is Wonderful - #3
It's been awhile, so I thought I'd add a new one.
If I put an appendage in front of Thomas's face long enough (e.g., foot, hand), he will inevitably begin to massage it. Even when he tries not to, he subconsciously reaches for it. :)

They're Speaking To You, To You...
Hey guys!
It's been awhile since I last blogged... and a lot has happened since then :)
You are looking at (the blog of) one of Anthropologie's newest employees! :) I spent the bulk of yesterday (8-4) at Anthro orientation. It was a pretty big group of us (12ish). Most of them seem to be moving to the Domain location. It would make sense for me to move there to since I live about a stone's throw (is that the white people phrase?) away from it. So is it weird I want to stay at the downtown location? If I was part of the Domain one, I'd be able to help literally build the store, etc.... which sounds cool, but at the same time sounds like NOT something I want to do. Also, is it dorky of me that I think it'd be fun to work with Lisa every now and then? Hey, at least this way, I can shop at the Domain one and not be tempted to work! :)
Recently I've had a resurgence of listening to two different bands. 1. Fall Out Boy. 2. 10,000 Maniacs. It's so funny to see the people who were famous 15 years ago vs. now. Natalie Merchant vs... Lady Gaga. Haha. Not that Natalie Merchant was ever hyped up and as popular as Gags, but... just sayin'. I only make this comparison because I was watching a youtube video recently of Natalie performing one of my favorite songs "These Are Days" on stage in what I can only describe as a frock. Haha a long sleeve yellow button up with a long floor length skirt. On stage! Who does that?! Anyway... she does a big twirl on stage, it's adorable.
Anyway, other than that there hasn't been a whole lot else developing. Not that I mind. Bones has kind of sort of completely taken over my life. But... I think you all know that. Lisa and Mike bought a new house in the Crestwood area and it's adorable! They're remodeling right now so no pics as of yet. :) We should be having a Memorial Day party for baby Luke's first bday.
Oh, and I also have awesome footage of Thomas and Johnny Creeding in the car.
Summer is upon us, guys. I know it's technically not supposed to start until June... but it's Texas and... yesterday I felt like I was going to melt in my car! So for all intents and purposes, it's fricken Summer! Oh well... here's an excerpt from the above mentioned song to ring in Summer! :)
These are the days you might fill with laughter until you break
These days you might feel a shaft of light make its way across your face,
And when you do, you'll know how it was meant to be,
See the signs and know their meaning, it's true,
Then you'll know how it was meant to be,
Hear the signs and know they're speaking to you,
To you...

I Think I've Fallen for Bones
Oh my god. I just laughed so hard, I almost pulled an LC and started crying.
Johnny, Shelby & I just got home from eating lunch at Denny's. (We over-tipped because they asked us at the counter, and we had to tell them. Like, out loud.)
Anyway, we're walking into the apartment and as soon as I hung up my keys, I thought to myself, "Oooh! BONES!"
And I took off my shoes, and started off towards my room.
But somehow I tripped over one of Johnny's shoes (that damn red shoe) and...
I ate it. Like I just totally ate it. I remembered thinking, "Oh man, I should really catch myself," but then I realized that I couldn't and just had to submit myself to the fall. I just thought, "Okay, well this is about to happen." Next thing you know my knees hit the floor, arms (with purse) try to cushion my fall, and the rest of my body followed suit.
Oh man it hurt.
And then I just laid there in pain laughing my ass off while Johnny and Shelby discuss how implausible and hilarious that fall was.
Oh the things I will do for Bones.

The Many Faces of Baby Luke
Here are some photos of Luke because I know you're all dying to see how cute he is.

A Bones-Heavy Stream of Consciousness Update
There are some things a-brewing in my life. I'm not 100% sure where I stand or how I feel, but when/if they happen... you'll know... because... I'll blog about it. :) In the meantime, this post will be a completely disjointed blog about random things running through my mind.
I haven't worked out nearly as much as I thought I'd start working out again. I believe this is due to my want/need/infatuation/obsession for/with Bones (mostly Booth, from Bones).
I haven't read anything at all lately.
If I'm not watching Bones, I'm probably doing Harry Potter Trivia. I will be studying that tonight. For tomorrow. Because I WILL kick ass. Tomorrow is Harry Potter Pub Trivia @ Opal Divine's. LC is supposed to be on my team. She's doing better than she was a couple of weeks ago... but... I don't know. I need to make sure Jon (my cousin) is ready for this. OMG he better be ready for this. I wish Katie was coming. Alas, she is busy. But man I wish Katie was coming! :) Right now it's just me, LC & Jon on my team.
Booth.
By the way this post is being written as a stream of consciousness (as are most of my blogs, but as this one doesn't really have much of a purpose, it'll be more apparent). Hence, there will be random mentions of the new leading man in my life.
Luke does this new thing where he scrunches up his face and it's almost too much to handle.
Yesterday, LC came with me and Johnny to our regular Thursday dinners at Lisa & Mike's. Johnny only recently started coming with me, but it's been pretty fun. The nights typically just consist of regular NBC Thursday night line-up + dinner + Project Runway. David and Donson came over (is it gross that every now and then I still get the urge to call him Ddogg? I mean, he is 30 now. It is still his screen name though... I'll think on this some more) and then eventually Val came over after her class.
I bought a Double Down and a bunch of KFC little buckets. I just wanted to try it. We cut it up into little pieces and tasted it. It's not really bad... it just tastes like chicken and cheese. I think it's the idea of eating it like a sandwich that's disturbing. It's just... wrong.
Seriously, Luke is SO CUTE. OMFG.
I keep trying to look up things to do in Boston. I just want to go eat places. And I am SO EXCITED about the Red Sox game that I'm going to :) I got tickets for Buddy and myself. Jenny suggested it because she'll be there with her family and I'm pretty sure Tim's family too. I used to say that one of my goals was to attend a game in every ballpark in America. I don't think I got a shotglass from the time I went to Petco Park to see the Padres play. It's hard to remember though... if only I had a way to display all my shotglasses...
Special Agent Seeley Booth. oaeiwfklsdnrkjlgalksfd
I'm helping Lisa and Mike pack on Sunday, I think. With the stipulation that I get to watch Bones... :)
Bones.
OH MY GOD... BONES!

This Dress Needs To Be Mine

Maybe it's just me. No, it's not just me. Anyone who knows me should know that this dress should be mine. THIS DRESS NEEDS TO BE MINE!

Bones Episode: Aliens In A Spaceship
The ninth episode of the second season.
HOLY SHIT!
SO GOOD! Probably one of the most intense and so far my favorite episode EVER!!! I cried. Like, more than anyone should ever actually admit to crying for a TV show. Booth running... is amazing. You just have to see the episode I guess.

I Just Slept For Twelve Hours
I think.
I got home from work ca. 5:45, because I went to HEB to get some food/snacks that will sustain me during my Bones hibernation.
I finished one episode I started the night before.
Then I finished another episode.
Then I started another one but ended up falling asleep.
I woke up at some point when it was pitch black outside, only to hear some rustling in the kitchen (I think?) and notice that a light was on. I only have an analog clock in my room, and it's by no means lit or glow in the dark, so I had no idea what time it was and I wasn't curious enough to make an attempt at trying to find out.
I decided the easiest course of action in this case, was to just go back to sleep.
I just woke up. It was 7:35 am.
I can't decide if I should be happy that I (definitely) caught up on sleep. Or if I should be annoyed at myself for "wasting" precious Bones-watching time. I might have to go with the latter because I'm getting that "OMG I slept way too much and I'm starting to feel icky, so the best thing to do would be to go back to sleep" feeling. But I think I'll maybe try to squeeze in some more Bones.
Bones Bones Bones!

Bones + Booth = My Newest TV Obsession
Thirteen (yes, 13) years ago, I missed the train and never hopped on. Which train is that you might be asking yourself? That would be the train of David Boreanaz when he was Angel on Buffy.I've somehow become obsessed with the show Bones. Emily Deschanel (who I believe I misnamed as Chloe to LC--my b) is my new girl crush. I talked to Johnny about this earlier today. This has a lot to do with the fact that she looks a LOT like her sister, but isn't as obviously quirky looking, which makes her prettier in a very simple, classic sense. Ugh, I'm such a lesbian.
Anyway, I think my crush on David Boreanaz was a very very verrrrry slow one. I was never really attracted to him, and when I'd catch and episode here and there (very very rarely) of Bones, he just seemed... ugggghnnoying (see what I did there?) However, after catching some random season 3 episodes where they're clearly trying to make Bones and Booth have a deep deep hot sexy tense relationship, I've also grown to want a deep deep hot sexy tense relationship with him. Ugh.
Anyway. It's almost 1:30 am. I WILL hate myself tomorrow morning, but the fact of the matter is... I can't stop watching this show. I tried to go to sleep, and I just lay in bed thinking about how I COULD, instead, be watching another episode.
I am also in love with Michaela & TJ... not so much the other guy who looks like the one guy on Grey's Anatomy (which I've seen ONCE--and that ONE TIME was when I saw like, a season premiere at LC's and it made me cry the entire time) who isn't all that cute.
Anyway, here's a sweet pic of all of my new loves. I'm sorry guys if I stop hanging out for a bit... I'm going into hibernation (this will be similar to my beginning days of Veronica Mars, House & Always Sunny)
Come on... you can't beat chemistry like this:

(I actually saw this episode tonight!)

Barriers To My Work Out Schedule
Dear Mel,
There will always be an excuse to not work out. Don't always take it. Except for today. Today's cool... but NEVER AGAIN!
Love,
Fat Mel
